When Scottish band Camera Obscura performed at Hornstulls Strand in Stockholm recently, Tracyanne Campbell was wearing mori & mimosa's swan brooch, previously seen in the Camera Obscura video "French Navy". (Thanks Frida Fjellman for spotting the article in Dagens Nyheter!)

Mori & mimosa are featured in the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Hokou Style (= Scandiavian Style). In this issue they focus on IKEA, and we're in it because we use some of IKEAs furniture etc in our shop/studio. If you don't read Japanese, don't worry just look at the nice pictures!

Sara went to London early this morning to bring back the jewellery exhibition at Fashion and Textile Museum in London. If you hurry you can still see the exhibition, it ends May 17th! If you're lucky you may even meet Sara. If you see a girl with this baggade tag, like the one above, on her bag, you can be sure it is Sara.

No, we haven't gone into politics...this is a Swedish article but unfortuantely I don't have time to translate all of it... It's about our (and 11 other designers) collaboration between Berghs School of Communication and the Swedish Fashion Council and the article is saying that you can vote for our picture and get a free ticket for you and a friend to get into the fashion party at Café Opera Febr.12th. Well, at least enjoy the picture!

"Tävla och vinn en helkväll i modets teckenModevecka nummer två i Stockholm är på ingång, och vi vill att du ska vara en del av den! Tillsammans med projektet Rookies möter Rookies bjuder vi in dig att tävla och vinna fina modepriser!Stockholm Fashion Week går av stapeln 9-15 februari. Då kommer 12 lovande designers visa upp sig och göra allt för att bygga sitt varumärke under projektet Rookies möter Rookies. Sammanlagt har närmare 100 personer deltagit i projektet. Från Berghs deltar 70 studenter från tre klasser. Från Svenska Moderådets Rookies-projekt medverkar 12 utvalda mindre designföretag. Förutom dem har också ett antal fotografer, modeller och andra gjort det möjligt att genomföra modellfotograferingar som underlag för de vackra bilderna.

These pieces, along with works by 10 other Swedish jewellery artists, can be seen at the Fashion & Textile Museum in London, starting tomorrow. The exhibition is called The Dreamer and the Dream and is on until May 17.
Join us - and the Swedish crown princess - for the opening tomorrow! :-)

"The art of jewellery design taps into a basic instinct in the human animal – that of adornment. The talented jewellery designers showcased in this exhibition produce just such a response with their work, be it witty or understated or disconcerting. These designer-makers, based in the Swedish principle of good design and strong aesthetics, tap into personal experiences to create one-of-a-kind treasures, working with both precious materials and found objects to fashion pieces that operate on many different levels.
